Game Master / Host
Job Description:
We are looking to hire a new team member to join our team who enjoys puzzles, hosting, and game-mastering!
Ideal candidates must have a positive attitude, a fantastic first impression, and an ability to instantly connect with customers to provide exceptional service. Candidates ideally are a 5-10 minute commute away from the store location. Maximum 15 minute commute.
What we want:
- MUST LIVE IN the South Bay area: Torrance, Lomita, Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Carson, Redondo Beach, San Pedro, Harbor City, etc.
- Able to work weekends.
- A fast learner, organized, and coachable.
- Energetic with a positive can-do attitude.
- A great sense of humor.
- Enjoy games and puzzles.
- A team player that can also work independely. Be willing to cover for other team members in emergency situations.
- Friendly and customer-service oriented.
- Punctual and willing to work flexible hours. Punctuality is EXTREMELY important. It is better to be 5 minutes early than 5 minutes late.
- Detail oriented, problem solver, and multi-tasker.
- Must be well groomed and presentable.
What you do:
- Greet customers with warm welcome and check them in.
- Provide full game briefing and rules.
- Monitor, assist, and reset games.
- Take reservations, process payments, and take customer photos.
- Check every game to ensure all props are in working order.
- Promote other game rooms.
- Provide the best experience for all our guests.
- General cleaning: Vacuuming, taking out trash, cleaning restroom, keeping store organized and tidy, etc.
